Austrian-born Martin Kobaid is national executive chsf of Fedics, the company he joined in 2006 after running his own restaurant and conference centres tor three years. He has played a number of starring roles in his career, skyrocketing through trainee chef, sous chef, chef de partie and head of department in various hotels and restaurants in Austria, then moving to South Africa in 1983, and becoming president of SAGA in 2003.
